Art has been that lifelong friend that is there for the good and bad times, happy and sad times. I have never stuck with one medium, I dabble in all sorts. Some types I have stuck with and others I learn, but realize I don’t have a deep connection with. I believe that we are all artists, we are all creators of so many beautiful things. For me there is no good or bad piece, it’s all a part of the process. Inspiration is all around and, with a lyric from one of my favorite bands to sum it up, “sometimes you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.”. (that’s from Scarlet Begonias which was written by Robert Hunter and the music is by Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead if you didn’t know).
